Helen Lawn
Helen has worked in medical communications and PR since 1990. Beginning her career at Wells Healthcare as a Project Manager for UK and international publishing and medical education programmes, she moved to Reed Elsevier as a Senior Account Manager within the medcoms division where she was involved in bespoke publishing, education and developed medical education programmes for Pharma company clients.
In 1995 Helen moved to Interaction a specialist healthcare PR and marketing company beginning as Account Director and then being promoted to Deputy Managing Director for the agency. She was involved in a wide range of high profile healthcare public relations accounts, KOL development ethical and OTC campaigns.
Helen founded the agency in 2000 and since then has worked with a wide range of healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, many of whom continue to work with the agency now. Her expertise includes strategic PR campaign development, brand and corporate public relations, PAG liaison and advocacy group work, KOL development and liaison and she has worked extensively in scientific meeting planning organisation and faculty management as well as media relations. Helen has also worked in-house covering for the Head of PR for Schering Healthcare as an interim Head of Public Relations.

Jo McCarthy
Jo has an arts background having gained her degree in Art and English. After working for some well-known fine art auction houses following her degree, she decided to keep her passion for the arts to her personal time and pursue a career in marketing.
Jo spent 14 years with AXA PPP healthcare, gaining experience across several divisions; international marketing, corporate new business acquisition and latterly managing the marketing for personal customer retention, pioneering new, integrated approaches with significant results.
Jo's key skills lie in communication and copy writing. She has worked with Helen Lawn since April 2010 and looks forward to working with Helen and to continue to deliver the quality of service and healthcare PR expertise for which she is renowned.
